2009 Rates & Policies
Dear Students, Parents & Guardians,
Happy New Year!! I hope 2009 brings happiness and good fortune to all! 2008 was year of big changes, including coming home to teach, and the birth of our son, Landon =) Things are going well with him, and sleeping for us is somewhat back to normal!
PRIVATE LESSONS RATE: Tuition will remain the same for 2009! One-hour block is $135/month (approx. $38/wk), ˝ hour block is $67.50/month (approx. $19/wk). Payments are due at the first lesson of each month. There will be a $20 fee for returned checks. Checks should be made out in my name.
RESCHEDULING: Students are responsible for posting lesson cancellations on the Teaching Schedule Board in advance of an absence. Cancellation dates should be logged on the board in BLACK. Black dates indicate available times to other students needing to reschedule lessons.
Students are also responsible for rescheduling missed lessons. Claim open times (which are blank or marked with a black date) by writing your name and the date in BLUE. Names and dates in blue indicate that the time is no longer available for rescheduling. Your participation will ensure the fairness of this of this system and accommodate the need for rescheduling. If you have any questions, feel free to ask anytime! As always, there’s no “expiration date” for rescheduling lessons.
BAD WEATHER EXCEPTION: Make-up lessons will be offered when cancellations are due to dangerous driving conditions, snow or ice. Usually I leave it up to each individual family to make the choice.
